All over the nation folks like you are on a journey back to their agrarian roots. It’s called the Homestead Movement and embodies a newer, cleaner, greener method of sourcing food. In the last two years food security has also become a real concern for many Americans, making the homestead movement even more attractive. We purchased our a small farm in 2020 and began our own homesteading journey. It wasn’t long till we noticed the lack of support for small scale ag in the Lykens Valley and beyond. Eventually a vision formed of not only raising our own food but helping other families toward a healthier, sustainable future.
